  • Quality Thread
    • All thread on Bale Stack Covers is a high-strength bonded polyester thread. This thread has exceptional rot resistance and is much stronger than conventional sewing thread. After 12 months of continuous exposure to sunlight and moisture, bonded polyester thread will retain between 50%-60% of its original strength.
  • Gravity Straps
    • Since your bale stack will shrink and settle, it is necessary to periodically check your cover to ensure that it is securely fastened. If this is neglected, your cover may become loose and as a result may be damaged by wind whipping.
    • To counteract this problem we recommend GRAVITY STRAPS. These straps are sewn to each corner and located at each seam along the length of both sides. The idea is to suspend heavy objects (such as tires) to the GRAVITY STRAPS. As shrinking and settling occur the weight at the strap locations will naturally pull the cover down to compensate. It is still recommended that the eyelets between the GRAVITY STRAPS are periodically checked and tightened. But at least with GRAVITY STRAPS you know your cover is continually being tightened at 12 foot intervals.
  • Reinforcing Patches
    • Spaced around perimeter on 3 foot intervals at eyelet locations. These patches are multi-layered and of heavy construction. This feature provides a great deal of support for the eyelets and helps prevent them from tearing out.
  • Double-Stitched construction throughout all hems and sewing around reinforcing patches ensures maximum strength.
  • Welded Seams similar to a metal weld. Heat sealing bonds the cover together. This feature makes the cover totally waterproof.
  • Rope Hem on all sides adds strength and stability to the cover's edge. In turn, this will minimize harmful wind-whipping.
  • Brass Eyelets are strong and long-wearing. Spaced on 3 foot intervals, this ensures enough tie-downs to properly secure the cover and help prevent ripping
  • Each cover comes package in a clear poly bag with a descriptive insert.
